I should have listen to my housemate’s advice “not to go Manila yet” especially late at night.

Got home by 1 a.m. from two and a half hour trip. Door was already closed. I saw lights were open inside. I tried knocking hard. No one heard me. My cellphone’s battery turned low after calling to our landline. I walked to a near phone booth but it’s busted so I look for a pay phone. That @#*! store owner didn’t allow me to use their phone (as if I don’t have any money. he just gave me a reason not to come back there again). I found another store but the phone is being used for internet. I ask the lady if I can plug my charger instead. Called some of my friends but was unavailable for a rescue. I’ve never felt so helpless in my life.

I stayed at a tricycle terminal. Good thing there’s TV where I diverted my attention from the uncomfortable situation I’m into even just for a while. I also had a small conversation with a part-time driver who, incidentally, is a member of a dance group that join contests on TV and have a friend who was eliminated lastly in Billy Crawford’s reality TV search for back-up dancers, Move.

Nervousness suddenly hit me when television stations finally signed off. All I can hear is the noise of the vehicles on the street passing me by. Almost all of the drivers were sleeping while waiting for passengers. I caught myself closing my eyes several times but I kept myself awake for possible dangers. I left the place the moment the surrounding begins to light up.

Watch, the girl’s cute. Great voice as well.

    A little background from wikipedia.org

The second single from the Taylor Swift album, “Teardrops On My Guitar”, was released February 24, 2007. The song was inspired by a true event during her time in high school in which she liked a boy named “Drew Hardwick”. He only saw Swift as a friend and a go-to person for advice about his relationship with his girlfriend. She noted she heard “through the grapevine” that Drew is well aware the song was written about him.[11] “Teadrops on My Guitar” originally made its peak positions in Summer 2007, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Country Chart and #33 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was re-released to the Hot 100 and Pop 100 in late 2007 with a Pop remix that brought “Teardrops on My Guitar” to #13 on the Hot 100 and #11 on the Pop 100.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but hearing “Tear Drops On My Guitar” for the first time made me remember Billy (the young country singer who sang One Voice). Billy really sound like a girl when he first came out with his single. This is not something to worry about. It’s natural. Boys at their young age can belt out songs with high voice range. But that was before. The boy’s all grown up now.

For the girls, if you’re having difficulty in singing high pitched female songs, you can try male songs with high voice range. I just found out from someone that it suits girls with low voice range.

Back to blogging again after a long rest. I’ve been checking POB.com and my emails once in a while but I’m not really in the mood to make a post.

I recently went to Baguio for the annual Coaches Academy of Center for Pop Music Philippines (CPMP). We stayed at the Pine Breeze Cottages from March 3 to 8, a week of exams, tonal quality tests and lectures.

The Coaches Academy aims to train and to update the new and old time vocal coaches (that includes me. yes, the job I chose over the one I mentioned at my “Selecting the right job offer from the company you’ve applied” entry) on the latest in entertainment industry.

My trip to Baguio is more of a business than vacation for me (we were only allowed to go out of Pine Breeze on our last day). And it is not free. All expenses spent by the company will be deducted straight from my first salary.
